In an interview with MMANews.com Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell weighs in on a possible bout with UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva, who recently moved up in weight to the 205lb light heavyweight division.
MMANEWS.COM: Would you ever welcome a fight between yourself and Silva?
Chuck Liddell: Sure, it could be a good fight but I think I’m too big for him. He’s a tough fighter and I have all the respect in the world for him but I think I’d be too much for him.

Chuck would be too much for silva, too big,too strong.
I think it would end with KO 1st or 2nd round.
Would Chuck even be able to land a shot on Silva? Anderson might just pick him apart like Jardine did... ahgem... ouch!
Silva needs to get used to the division first...Afterwhich he will be able to dominate any light-heavy weight..Liddell included. Silva has beter stricking, beter ground game.. more adaptable.. is just superior. The only person who would beat Silva is Fedor, if Silva eventualy moves up to heavy-weight..
Chuck, when you can take care of Keith Jardine...then you can talk shit again...um, did you think Jardine was a good striker with a great game-plan...yes??? Well what in the hell do you think Silva is?!!
On another note...the most interesting 205 match up I'd like to see now that A Silva's moved up is....
Silva vs. Machida
...talk about some precision MMA...that would be AWESOME!!!
(well, actually a close second in skill level to the Elite XC headliners Kimbo and "ear-ball" How about this - if Liddell can get through Kimbo "cough, chuckle, choke, snicker"...and avenge his Jardine loss...then he can get a crack at Silva)
This makes him look stupider than the time he appeared on morning television doped out of his mind and kept falling asleep during the interview...
liddell's striking is way more powerful than silva's so 1 punch could end it. i'm not saying who would win because those two are my top 2 fave fighters, slva better subs, liddell better strikes it would be a war. and jardine did pick him apart but look at jardines face i nthat fight...bloody as hell. it might make anderson double guess the division if his face got messed up.
