Nate and Nick Diaz Launch into Tirade at UFC Fight Night 15 Post Presser

The Diaz boys are at it again.

From Sports Illustrated

“In what was a baffling and undoubtedly rare moment for the media, Nate Diaz was short of salacious quotes about his latest win and opponent Josh Neer. Diaz’s time was limited in dropping four-letter bombs. Why? Because Nate had noly taken his seat in front of reporters at the post-fight press conference when his older brother Nick launched into a tirade that disrupted the interview and left the UFC staff with the unenviable task of keeping the Diaz clan from causing a scene. Good luck with that one. Nate abandoned the press conference as his brother shouted profanities at no one in particular, and together they took their rant into the hallway. Yes, the notorious potty-mouthed pair struck again. Maybe this was Nick’s way paying his family back for their feud with the Noons’ at EliteXC on Showtime in June. All about reciprocities in the Diaz household.”

Hopefully a video will surface soon and I'll post it.

just because you pay a thug, doesn't mean he is a professional. nate and nick are poor representations of mma.

Sayin you're from The Bay Area when you live in Stockton is like saying you're from New York when you're from Rhode Island. Don't soil The Bay Area by including places like Stockton in it.

They're some hardcore mother fuckers and none of you would say shit to them face to face.

Poor representations of MMA? I'd say theyre pretty incredible actually.

The Diaz brothers are very talented fighters and should not be written off. That said they lack the professionalism that we would like them to display, especially so base on the level at which they compete. Their behavior reflects poorly on MMA.

Who gives a shit if they'd bust ass on someone for calling them thugs? Am I supposed to respect them for that or something?

It's sort of fun to watch Nick shoot his mouth off though - I feel like I'm watching a bad B-movie villain. The Diaz brothers are fun to watch in the ring, but it's hard to take them seriously when they're pretty much caricatures of pro-wrestlers outside. Throw on some face paint, wrap tassels around their arms and they'll be good to go!

Nick just ruined his little brother's career.

Fool, Please...send those 209 reppin' boys to the real Bay Area hoods and watch em pucker up like a new fish first night in San Quin.

East Oakland
North Richmond
Hunters Point

These boys are "hard"...for where they're from...and that's it.

PS While I find it laughably entertaining (and I love they way they fight), I could do without the constant professing of their ignorance.

PPS Compare and contrast what comes out of the Diaz boys mouths to that 10 minute video made by Evan Tanner...and you have the complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

Diaz boys are very entertaining! They seem to be genuinely pissed off and will get down whenever. As far as "being from the Bay Area"... Stockton is hard. All those valley towns have some tough fools. Richmond ain't any harder.. neither is Oakland... Just a bunch of chumps weilding guns. That dont make you tough... it makes you a scary criminal... but sure as hell dont make you tough. I'd put either Diaz boy upv against any gangster without a gun in any of those "hoods". Diaz brothers win hands down. F*ck gang banging, gun slingin, party wreckin, p*ssies with guns!

Elite XC has folded...ha ha ha
this makes me happy because it screws diaz who is a thug and a loser. Diaz will perhaps now have to start his own MMA league. Then he can fix the rules so that he always wins and doesn't have to deal with the cheating that always takes place whenever he loses (according to him).
Diaz can talk tough, but he's got a pretty mediocre career mma record and his ego does not match his talent. When he loses, he can't take it like a man and always launches into a tirade. I am happy that elite XC collapsed for the reason that it screws diaz. i hope the punk is in prison in 10 years or at least working at Burger King. Charma's a bitch, eh nick.

"bad for the sport", blah blah blah, I'm tired of hearing about how the Diaz brothers are bad for the sport. If you think Nick's career is over by a long shot, you're a moron. Affliction, Strikeforce or maybe the UFC will snatch him up...he's very marketable with significant wins over top competitors. He has only lost to really talented fighters..I really don't even think he's peaked yet, he may be one of those fighters who peaks when he's older. He may act immature sometimes, hence he's still young and he's so fun to watch, he can back up his hype.
And I'm not even from Cali....
