Quote of the Day: Mauricio Shogun Rua on Possible December Return

After a long layoff due to a ruptured ACL suffered in training for Chuck Liddell, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua weighs-in on a time-table for his return to the cage. He recently spoke with Tatame.

“My knee is very good, thanks to God. I was going to begin my hard train this week but I spoke to my doctor and he decides to make the exams this week. I have been doing Boxing and physical train, and I think next week I will return to the Jiu-Jitsu and gradually train more”

“I will train hard to face anyone. I had a defeat on my debut and I can’t choose my opponent. It is not settle yet, but I expect to return on December, it’s better for me”

Lets hope he comes back with a purpose, I would love to see a rematch with Forrest.

Your opinion is worthless. 48-46 Forrest. Easy unanimous decision. I would like to see Shogun face Machida.

How many of you guy's train and fight? Are there any pro mma fighters posting comments here?
Its cool if you guy's are big fans of mma and support your fav fighters but the way some of you guy's talk crap shows how much you know about being a pro mma fighter.
Zero!
I'm not saying you don't know anything about mma but as far as training every day, walking into a cage/ring with another pro fighter that wants and can break you, unless you break him first, you cant learn that online or on tv.
If you did know what its like then you would not be talking the way some of you do.It seems like a lot of you know why fighters win, lose,
what a fighter shouldve done to win,how many rounds a fighter won, lost how a fighter is training or not training.Tell us if you know all then why not train us fighter's? The way it sounds any fighter with you in his corner will always win.Right?
Forest beat Rampage in a good fair fight, thats what happens sometimes you win sometimes you lose.
If you dont understand that then you really will never understand what fighting is all about.
